Pretty sure this is the computer i had at home when i was in 5th grade, it was a hand me down, and playing games on it was rough, but i did eventually copy win3.11 on to it by borrowing a neighbors disk set. and was able to find a couple bbs to dial into, and for a short time compuserv working. PS you should setup an IRC server, or even a telnet BBS would be cool AF!

ZZXIO for the win! I have one of their cards so that I can use a Quantum IDE drive with my Model 60.

Of course I can't add links in my comments on the video, but I've documented the ESDI/DBA-ESDI ('DBA' means 'Direct Bus Attachment', although I have always thought of it as the more conventional 'Doing Business As') BIOS calls to get the microcode level of the controller and drive geometry. It is important to remember that ESDI didn't need entries for drive geometry to be entered manually in the system configuration. https://ibmmuseum.com/Interrupts/INT13h/INT13h1C0A.htm https://ibmmuseum.com/Interrupts/INT13h/INT13h1C0B.htm More information about the ESDI/DBA-ESDI controllers and systems to follow...

IBM Museum

Hehe - My moniker can typecast me, although I focus on IBM gear. It is from years ago, when I did a tour of my basement, and the visitor (I think she had worked for IBM at one point) said "It looks like an IBM museum in here!". Things have settled down (I had health issues in this last year and have had a pacemaker for the last six months - in addition to my long-awaited VA claims finally coming through), and I'm thinking of starting content again once I hit 2.5K subscribers.

IBM Museum

man you are collecting IBM gear in a way that tells me you're planning something super IBM related
