Chapter 27 - Angry Poisonous Orange Hornet

It was completely black, but the edges were painted in silver that he couldn't tell what it was. When injected with the mysterious and powerful energy that is EXP, its form became even larger and its sharp claws shone in pure metal, looking even more deadly. If it were alive, it would pose a life-threatening danger even to Han Sen. Infiltrating back into his body, the cloack resurfaced and covered his body, becoming even more beautiful and imposing. Its cloaking characteristic must have also improved greatly, which he would use a lot in this nest of creatures.

Meanwhile, the Three-Headed Cobra was also slowly improved by the energy of EXP and its body grew, becoming more spiny and intimidating. The orange color became full red, the yellow eyes becoming vibrant and threatening. Moving towards Han Sen, it fully transformed into a beautiful crossbow, with a red wood texture with yellow details, and the metal containing it became black like the vertical pupils. In addition, its size increased to about 60cm and a weight of 7kg, having three mouths to shoot bolts and some kind of storage for rapid fire. Compared to its common primitive version, it was like heaven and earth (I hate using these Chinese romance comparisons...)

"I honestly don't know how anyone could not like crossbows..." Han Sen caressed the top of the crossbow, analyzing and appreciating the beautiful Beast Soul. He seemed not to even care that only he could evolve his beast, while the rest had to settle for a weaker and potentially disposable version.

Walking to the end of the plateau, he saw that the distance was not so great until he reached a tree. His heart beat a little faster with the idea of jumping without thinking about how the hell he was going to land. Arriving at the rock, he quickly ran across its entire length and finally reached the end. Without stopping for a moment, he jumped from there as high as he could.

As soon as he jumped, two sounds of something cutting through the air sounded and two small daggers flew towards the flying swarm of hornets. Han Sen had a smile when he finally felt a bit of relief.

There was a moment when the shots only hit the head, even if it was not in the forehead.

Now in control of the situation, Han Sen constantly used his enhanced senses and body to run backwards, more jumping than running. His attention was fully on shooting while moving, his shots becoming more deadly. He didn't need any system improvement to possess a high level of skill. About two hours later, Han Sen finally managed to eliminate the entire nest of hornets that had been after him, even the Poisonous Yellow Hornets (common tier) were sent to the afterlife. With hundreds of corpses scattered in a deathly trail, he could finally take a sigh of relief.

"Never do something so stupid again..." Shouldering his crossbow while still holding it, he remembered how it all started. But then, a smile crept onto his face at the thought of doing it again.
