Allt För Sverige SE04 EP05

Hello View Family, I'm back again to watch another episode of Allt För Sverige with you guys. The competition is half way through. Which I can't believe, I feel like we've just started watching this season. I think we may catch up by early next year at this rate. :)

I'm working hard at catching up with these reactions. :) I really love this show, and this season is actually my favourite. The places they visit are really great, and I love that they visit places all over Sweden (compared to last season where most of the destinations were quite close geographically). This season also has my favourite winner by far, and at the same time I would have been really happy had the runner-up taken the crown. The cast is just really good this season, even if there are one or two people I don't love quite as much as the others. There's nobody that I was rooting for to get booted - I hate to admit it, but during the previous season I could not wait for Diane to be eliminated, and there have been one or two other contestants over the course of ten seasons where I've felt that way. Regarding the weather, it can actually get quite hot in the far north of the country during the summer, but it all depends on the whims of the weather. I've spent summers on the Norrbotten and Västerbotten coastline when it's been >30 degrees centigrade, and I've also experienced quite crappy weather. I think it's great that they highlighted the Sami people and their culture in this season and I wish they would do it more often in the show (there's always some new angle to help keep things fresh). The reindeer are so beautiful... but I do have to say, they're a huge pain in the neck when you're out driving closer to the coast in the winter. The reindeer are brought there during the wintertime and they can (and will) wander into traffic on occasion. Couple that with the fact that there aren't many hours of daylight and you really have to be cognizant of the fact that you might have a reindeer encounter when you're out driving (especially if you're not driving on a large road such as the E4). Thankfully I've seen some reindeer who have had safety reflectors on them, which of course makes them much more easy to spot. You've mentioned the Christmas special they filmed after this season had concluded. Will you be able to watch it during the upcoming week? I can't help but think that it would be rather perfect if that reaction were to be posted on Christmas Eve, which is when we celebrate it in Sweden. :) Apologies for the long post! Hope you have a great weekend, and that your week leading up to Christmas is not too hectic.

Tingeling

Kiruna is biggest in area, but I heard a town in Australia is the biggest.
