Alfredo asks Colette to marry him, she accepts, they have a son, the restaurant is doing very well, a problematic customer refuses to pay the bill, he hits Alfredo, his rat friend reveals himself, the customer shoots the rat....
the restaurant closes due to "rat problems" lol, Alfredo falls into depression, they are almost bankrupt, Colette is only accepted as a worker in a fast food restaurant.
Colette demands more commitment from Alfredo and that he has a daughter Colette works but a customer complains about the food, the manager reprimands Colette.
The manager tells her that he is going to fire her. Colette begs him not to and tells him that she has a daughter to support. The manager tells him that there is only one way he can forget about being fired.
