Apologies for a couple things... first, how BIG the timer is in this video. I forgot to resize it somehow and I guess my brain just didn't heckin' notice the entire time? Second, that I tried to end my review like twice and then kept talking anyway. The equivalent of standing at someone's front door after spending an hour with them, but being unable to leave.

Yeah I didn't care for him that much either. Definitely would have loved a whole season with Cottonmouth!

2024-11-30 11:40:08 +0000 UTCSo, I love Mike Colter as Luke, love Rosario Dawson...in anything. Thought Misty was good, and Pop was spectacular. In fact, I pretty much loved the whole cast--but especially Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth. And when they killed him...? Well, it was shocking, sure; but, it left a big old hole in the series. And if you're going to justify that shocking moment, you need to fill that hole. And boy, did they NOT fill that hole. No offense to Erik LaRay Harvey...but Willis Stryker just kind of...sucked. Yes, in my opinion. So, season one really took a down-turn for me after Mr. Ali left. It comes back around (yes, again, in my opinion) in season two, with a much stronger through-line, and a much more satisfying villain...than Willis Stryker.
