I had a definite feeling it was Qimir when she tied him up. But I was suspicious from the beginning, it could be because I have seen a Korean drama where the funny outgoing guy turns out to be the villain. Or it could be because I saw an edit of his character, which is the reason I started watching lmao.

2024-07-06 00:35:04 +0000 UTCYES, really adored how long we had fight sequences and they were so good. Both the lightsaber ones and without weapons. And I agree about Osha/Mae. Amandla's acting isn't the *worst* ever, but there isn't a whole lot of depth right now.

The fight scenes were absolutely, holy-fucking-shit spectacular. And Darth Bortles (if you know, you know) was awesome. And looked awesome. And moved awesome. And Sol was awesome. And Jecki was...awesome. My big problem at this point (and no offense intended to the actress, who is doing a splendid job), is that Mae and Osha are my two least favorite characters...or, at least the two characters I'm least interested in. But we shall see...

Surrendering to the Jedi was fine until she saw Kelnacca was dead and realized her Master killed him and he was likely still there. She then saw her Master absolutely DEMOLISH the Jedi. So she only had one option left: get away from her Master and try her best to get Osha in her life again, except Osha responded to that by telling her she was a criminal and that she wanted to arrest her LOL. I don't really blame Mae for being all over the place here. I'm very interested to see what her plan is now that she's pretending to be Osha and is with Sol. I think that Sol is smart enough to know it's Mae.

2024-06-26 17:07:42 +0000 UTCI like the way they did the Qimir reveal, I think it is fine if it was obvious. I am intrigued why he knows so much about Sol. The swap of the places for the twins is going to offer some interesting options, so let's see where it goes next episode. Best action sequences in the franchise honestly. I hope that people check it out even if they don't vibe with the show, it was so much fun. The shorting of the lightsabers is a very old concept from the books. It was fun to see the metal cortosis use on screen.

I honestly give it an A+, it is the turning point for the Acolyte on what kind of show its going to be, and it honestly raise the stakes for all the live-action SW series moving forward. I LOVED this episode, and I haven't been this shocked and jaw-dropped with a live-action SW episode since Shadow Warrior of Ahsoka. I cannot believe how goated this episode was and I've loved Acolyte from the get go but gosh man, im so shocked.
