Thanks to Skellytor, SourDuck, LazyPine, Parker, and Sunny for joining the past month!
For this month I mostly plan on finishing the bunny yeet-chan set, clearing my current commission queue, and planning for the next yeet-chan set. Also we might be having some nsfw material in there! Fun!
I know I mentioned doing a write up about my tabling and merch research from PopCon, but I can pretty much sum it up here; I probably need to do a lot more fanart-focused stuff, trying to see something that sticks out immediately to customers in a short window next to many other booths is hard! I have some good material, but not enough to run my own booth yet.
That being said! From one of the booths I bought from, I've learned about joining up with vendors who handle merch for various artists, and this vendor in particular specializes in original character merch (though I did buy a Pikmin keychain from them, I'll have to ask about how that works). From a series of interactions, luck turns out that said vendor I bought from liked my work shortly after the artist I bought from shared it with them. So I'm currently trying to see if I can get in contact of one of the vendor admins to learn more about partnering and joining up with them. If all works out, yeet-chan goodies may eventually be on the table!

i usually stick to what i’ve known myself, off the top of my head I could fancy some one piece, chainsaw man and pokemon. i need to play/watch more stuff with popular drawable characters lmfao (at least two of those belong to globally popular IPs we’re on the right track). i could go for drawing a hex maniac or frankie foster for a piece of the “fanart characters who might as well be twitter ocs” pie

2024-05-17 19:25:59 +0000 UTCYeah I don't draw nearly enough fanart, but I do intend to eventually for the sake of this Patreon's growth (and also just good to study and make tribute to what you like). There was a Zelda to that set too, all three commissioned by one of my friends. I imagine doing a bit of polishing up would make great print/sticker material, same with the luigitober stuff as well.

Some of your older works like those casual outfit Samus and Rosalina images probably still holding up strong enough for nice prints/stickers as well
