Kaito's love interest

I know I promised a chapter today, but I’m a bit stuck right now. I’ve been considering introducing another love interest for Kaito. I already have one planned besides Hotaru, and I feel that adding this new character would fit naturally into the story.
I know the last poll about whether Kaito should have a harem resulted in a no, but when I posted that poll, I had already envisioned Kaito having more than one lover due to how the story is unfolding. This isn't about forcing a harem—it's about character development and what feels right for the narrative.
If I decide to include her, she would need to appear in the next arc to ensure their ages align. But don’t worry—Hotaru isn’t being sidelined! She remains Kaito’s main love interest. I’ve also already hinted at another love interest in the previous chapter because of the changes Kaito has already made to the timeline. Sticking to the original canon pairing wouldn’t make sense in this version of the story.
So, in total, Kaito would have three wives in the future:
Hotaru Hyuga – She remains the main love interest.
A second love interest – Already confirmed but will come into play later.
A potential third love interest – If I include her, she must be introduced in the next arc to ensure their ages match.
I won’t be adding more beyond this, but I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’m putting up a poll for the next 24 hours, and based on the results, I’ll decide how to proceed with the next arc. Let me know what you think!

2025-03-04 07:03:51 +0000 UTCOk the more I keep reading this the more it doesn’t make sense and it’s pissing me off more you say it’s not about forcing a harem but it is honestly it feels like a forced marriage when you didn’t ask for it causing we’re already 162 in all its been built up was just hotaru the narrative so far didn’t really support a harem hell it didn’t really support romance cause it was such a minor subplot that I forgot it existed especially when the mc himself doesn’t even really consider romance even as a option cause he’s too focused on the future and what is really getting me is how the hell dose character development equate to having a harem cause so far their character don’t support that either especially hotaru cause it’s been subtlety shown she doesn’t want him interested in another girl and feels if she accepts it feels like she’s settling for less cause ‘ as long as i can have some of his love I don’t care ‘ which is bullshit btw and if Kaito accept it feels like it’s gonna be out of pity cause it so far doesn’t really his character and honestly I can live with two I might be a little salty about it but I can live with since you already decided on that so I’m forced to accept it but a third nah cause that’s actually settling for less and accepting the scrap given to you cause you’re that love deprived and if he says he can love them all equally he’s a liar cause that’s not human nature he gonna have his favorite the one he loves more which is hotaru cause she been with him through it all since childhood but in the end this doesn’t matter cause it’s your story and you already decided otherwise so fuck me
