Looking at a Famicom Titler
Added 2019-10-03 15:16:44 +0000 UTCI've had Quang's Famicom Titler knocking around the office for a while now, but he wanted it back, so after visiting the new Norwich arcade, we set it up and tried to make sense of it all.
Essentially, it's a Famicom with a Genlock capabilities, and it CAN be used in some pretty cool ways.

2019-10-04 07:35:51 +0000 UTCFYI... At least in the ATSC world, genlock is still a thing. Well it’s called sync now. But the premise is the same: making sure all of the things you want to use are synced to the same time signal. These days it’s a clock signal by GPS, in days gone by, we used what was called a “black burst” signal.
