Not mentioned above is that Pyre Weed consumes fire and fire magic to grow in an explosive manner - otherwise it grows very, very slowly.
> While growing explosively the plant is super-heated, often causing more fires and allowing it to use surrounding plants as fuel. It effectively co-opts forest fires for use as pyre weed explosions that have much the same forest-clearing effect.
>> Pyre weed will ignore weaker sources of flame while in the process of consuming a larger source of flame, letting small fires grow. It will also prioritize fire magic over regular fires under most conditions.
>> Pyre weed will initially grow towards a fire source, and then it will focus on growing away from it once continuous access to source is secured (unless source is used up / weakened / etc).
And of particular importance:
> Dead/Dried pyre weed can be revived by attempting to use fire magic in its vicinity. Non-magical fire sources will not revive the plant.
