The vote was very close! We had a 2-2-2 tie for most of the duration between "Mermaid Hunt", "Wheel O' Doom III", and "Extra Main Comic Pages", but a someone tossing their bonus vote into the ring made it 2-3-2. And so our winner is... Wheel O' Doom III (Safi/Mimic Suprise)!!
Edit: My apologies, I didn't note the results of the instant run-off. I'm not sure how to handle draws.. if I remove them both, Wheel O' Doom is the only one left standing. If I remove "Mermaid" first, then Wheel O' Doom wins 5-2. If I remove "Extra Pages" first, Wheel O' Doom wins 3-2. So... I guess it doesn't matter how I calculate it.

I know someone at the $10 tier asked for the The Mirror Of Empathy submission to make a return, so that'll be present in the January vote. I wonder what it'll be up against..

I think you may have been loose with words, but I understand where you're coming from. "Softcore" in my opinion doesn't mean "devoid of penetration", it means "devoid or mostly devoid of pornographic concepts". #2: A story can be over at any point. For example, in the main comic we've seen so far, would you say any characters have had a "definitive end"? Has Amber? I do get what you're saying, though. Thanks for taking the time to be more specific about it.

And by erotic I mean for the character. They're stripped and humiliated and that's it. They're just put on display for the titilation of others. I'm sorry, but as I've said you can find that all over Deviantart; people tied up, webbed, captured, vored without any sexual content. Finding that kind of content *with* sexual content is a lot rarer, and Eldrik's art has always been highly sexual. That is why I contributed here and I'm sure I'm not the only one. This is why I'm so vehement about this, it's not that I feel my preferences override others, it's just that if you do not favour this kind of content why are you even here? There are plenty of other places to find softcore bad ends/death. 2) By definitive end I don't necessarily mean death. I mean that you're basically suggesting the beginning of a story and leaving it there. A mermaid gets captured, and then what? Someone gets trapped, and then what? Someone gets enslaved, and then what? Minicomics are better when self-contained. Now sure you can say there can be a sequel, but I think that's unfair to expaect that and say "oh the real finale will happen later if you vote for it again!". The exception to this are things like the Wheel of Doom, because while it has an overall story with the 4 victims, each fate is self-contained.

Of course nobody expects the main comic to plough through its characters like Vin Diesel in an action film, but there have been quite a few pages being literally nothing but people walking somewhere - without using the space for anything but that; no exposition or whatever. Now, as I said, I won't give up on this any time soon (I'll be here dishing out weird ideas for some time to come :P), but I also don't know what your plans for "plot speed" are. That introduces some uncertainty when or if anything will happen. I don't want to force your hand either, disrupting the plans you had laid out for the comic. Perhaps you could create a simple road map, laying out when we will roughly get to what character (without anything specific) at the comic's current speed.

As far as fates go, I sent: 1 swallowed whole, 1 breast-enlarged into immobility, 1 petrified/stoned, 1 inflated to immobility, 1 trapped and injured to die a slow death, 1 abducted into permanent slavery. Every one is different, but it's hard to argue any of those aren't fates or aren't grim. Not being dead is not the same as not meeting a "fate" - and in two of six (1/3) the above submissions the person is in fact literally dead "on camera". I just don't think what's actually been happening adds up to the picture you're painting of it. I promise that next month I'll submit something with a definite end, though, if that'll make you happier.

It covered some stuff I won’t rehash here, but, anyway, a digestion mini seriously just won. And WoD part II could have had digestion in it based on the submission, I just ended up with a plant design that left it ambiguous (mostly because we ran out of space). So 2/7 actual digestion (and the upcoming mini was scripted to have it be more on-screen than glue plant), or 3/7 winners that could have had it. The only fetish with a larger presence is webbing/wrapping, clocking in at a mighty… 3/7. Even "tentacles" is only 3/7. I still don't get where this scope limiting stuff came from. The main comic said it'd have digestion.

2016-12-13 04:38:43 +0000 UTC@Stark I'm with you on this, but in this case it seems the majority of patrons (at least those that can vote/submit) doesn't see it like this. I was hoping for this comic not to derail into the usual light bondage and tentacle stuff that makes up most of this genre (the beginning showed great promise with the underwater plant and the at least indicated transformation), but aside from the miracle that was my glue plant submission being selected, everything points in the usual direction. I want to give this comic some more time regardless, but if your ideas diverge so considerable of those of the others, it may be smarter for you to invest the money you currently put into the comic into commissions that are more to your liking. It's quite a shame that even soft-vore and soft-digestion (of whatever kind) is too extreme for most, which unfortunately limits the scope of the comic considerably.

Amarenzu can’t leave the circle, but her demon skin is mostly fire-proof. A ghostly rod slams into her sex, the circle heating up a bit as she cries out in a mixture of pain and pleasure. This continues, the rods continuing to pump her as they rise, stuff her mouth, etc (moving her into a rotisserie-like position). She is basted/glazed/etc as her every erotic quiver brings her closing to a cooking heat. Amarenzu struggles to avoid orgasming herself onto the menu.. but doesn’t quite make it.

Well, a prequel detailing how the drider came to be could be interesting. Also, giving me wiggle-room to interpret things helps a lot. For example, the "is basted" instead of specifying how it happens lets me ponder if ghostly basters, having the glaze be cooling so if it is poured on her she'd reflexively help rub herself down, or something else entirely better fits the comic's flow. ------ Also, if folk want to suggest "More Plant Food Pages", as an option, feel free to do so. I'm periodically concerned that once a week is too slow, occasionally surging forward would be pleasant.

It attaches her to a rotisserie spit, then removes the cocoon wrapping. It begins to baste her with oils/butters/herbs. While it does this, it quickly swallows one of the bargain bin girls whole while she is still wrapped (quick snack), which makes Amarenzu realize what the thing is prepping her for. It then places Amarenzu in the rotisserie oven and sets the cook time for 1 year (lessor demon girls are heat resistant and take a long time to break down that defense). Comic would end with Amarenzu looking panicked as she rotates in the oven...and very warm!

Getting bonus votes is based on your regular (whether via piggybank or actually being at the voting reward tier) vote being outvoted. If someone only has bonus votes, they don't get more bonus votes for being outvoted. Anyway, to be specific, if you used piggybank credit to vote next month, and were outvoted, you would have 1 bonus vote. You would keep that vote until you got your first choice with it.
