I often wonder why they shoot smooth bore.. always wondering if rifled barrel or choke would have made a difference

2019-12-02 09:38:56 +0000 UTCI think that slug may have some promise. First, ditch the parachord. Second, put a couple of bore runner rings around the aluminum section. And finally, make the tail of the aluminum section concave kinda like wad cutter skirts. So long as the dart can exit the barrel straight, and the mean aerodynamic center is behind the center of mass, it should be stable in flight from a smooth bore.
