I saw the woman who nearly died on TV. In the interview she said. She was afraid of dieing of sepsis or blood loss and didn't want her mother to have to do her hair for the funeral. So she was in that hair salon planning for the chance of her death.
It's heart breaking that this is where american women are now.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that Millennials don’t care or fucked up. We were basically responsible of electing Obama twice. I still remember when I was first able to vote, how excited I was to vote for him, and a lot of my peers felt the same.

The theme song for Gen Z should be "We didn't start the fire."

Well, if god's track record is any indication, the christian South is due to be hit with even more hurricanes and tornadoes.

The issue with "GenX" isn't that they aren't motivated. GenXers (so named because Boomers lack imagination) started (1965) shortly after the advent of the passage of the Civil Rights Bill (2 July 1964). They grew up listening to society pay lip service to the ideology and believing what was said. The leading edge of the Millennials started, 1981, with Reagan taking office. He married the republican party to the christian right, sowing the seeds for today's sociopolitical issues, e.g. overt racism (and you thought eugenicists disappeared), rampant misogyny (women as breeding chattel), and christian hate ("god bless y'all, sinners"), to name just a few. GenX & Millennials preside over a relatively quiet period between the Civil Rights Movement and the coalescing rise of conservative christian bigotry. GenZ is burdened with, and blamed by boomers for, today's flaming bag of dogshit handed to them. History has shown one thing, it's always the burden of the youngest generation to be blamed of all social "ills" and to shift society. Society progresses one death at a time.

I love Lance's idea that we're supposed to fall into a hole... where I come from, we wish people "May you get everything you deserve"... and I kinda want to send him a postcard saying that :)

I can’t wait until next week when you guys get to talk about how that same billionaire bought Thomas’ mother’s house, then spent tens of thousands of dollars to renovate it. That billionaire owns Thomas’ mother’s house. He’s her landlord. What would you do for the guy that did that?

The United States government has many flaws but I still don’t understand how a judge in another state is allowed to make secessions applicable nationwide🤬
