Bought a set of these https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/SeEAAOSwsgdd7H0W/s-l500.jpg from eBay seller (annie-audio) for $65.99. Production is supposed to start in April. I'm supposed to receive them as soon as they become available. I'll make another post when I receive them to let you know how it all works out.

2020-03-08 22:07:41 +0000 UTCThey work well enough, the hiss is present when playing, but if it’s not streaming the hiss stops. I find they begin to bother my ears after about 2 hours of wear. And the ES100 has better SQ and headroom, but this is much more compact and wearable. I’m looking forward to version 2

Last year I read about a chipset from another mfg, that was small enough and had the power requirements to do an LDAC and TWS but they haven't surfaced. Given the eleventy million different TWS products, you would think one of them would have offered if it was available. I got the 1st Bragi and 6 other TWS since. The only one I kind of liked was the Treblab but that was primarily for the beryllium diaphragms. Even with Knowles balanced drivers, TWS is still "not ready for primetime". The BTR5 the only mobile BT I've liked enough to use for my daily 3 hour train rides.

2020-02-22 18:21:28 +0000 UTCThe BTR5 is my current mobile solution. It's LDAC connection to my LG V20 and my KZ ZSX (passive NC). The BTR5 just has less compromises then the WS1. FIIO is the current god of BT, hopefully the WS2 will match the tech (with LDAC please) of the BTR5.
