Z Review - Fidelio X2HR [Don't Share]

These or a 58x? Heard they are a bit muddy on mids but might be suitable for gaming.

Brainwavz Gel Velour did good things to them too, I made some 3D printed rings to mount on them, i can publish it to thingiverse sometime.

Thanks Z. I snagged one of these from Amazon after watching this review, and am very impressed with both the imaging and the comfort. Normally with my old Sennheisers, my ears are worn out and crying after about 30 minutes. I wore the X2s for about 3 hours straight last evening, and my ears never felt fatigued.

Hello! I sneaked in a patron because I saw you reviewed two of the headphones I'm considering buying back to back and saw it as a sign. (MMX 300, x2hr) MMX 300 is 169£, x2 is 104£ to which I would add a vmoda boom pro for another 25£ to. I mainly want something that sounds nice with music, is comfy and with a decent microphone (I keep buying cheap clip on microphones and breaking them monthly). I will use these to sit in teamspeak and play games, not shooty shooty ones so super accurate directional sound is not a must at all. I know one is closed and the other is open so the comparison doesn't make too much sense but still! The headphone they are replacing at the moment is a pair of Takstar HI 2050 that I have had for I think over 5 years, they are super comfy and taken lots of abuse but I'm looking for an upgrade now Source will be straight out of my gaming laptop My other audio stuff I have, if it helps, is iBasso it01 (love these, super comfy and gorgeous bass/sound signature) tin t2 pros (these are nice but prefer the ibasso), kz zs5 (ok sound, not too comfy in my ears), Sony XBA-H1 (really meh and expensive), sony 1000xm2 (ok for commute, anc is nice on flights) also open to other suggestions!
