Protector #2 preview (pencils/inks)

After nearly 4 years of waiting, getting back to the book and basically drawing both Hesukristos and Mari "in action" - meaning "acting" - for the FIRST time was a ton of fun. Most of the Cyborg poses here are based on bear posture and movement; and Mari is incredibly agitated and animated compared to her silent panicking manoeuvres from #1. Also: insanely anime shit (by my own measures) on the last page!
Also 2: after years and years of drawing comics this was my VERY FIRST TIME placing rough text on my pencils to avoid cluttering!
Also 3: you may notice two different versions of the panel of "Deva vision". I'm glad that we had enough time to think over and fix this little moment!

I actually covered the spot myself in my rough placement version only because I felt bad about the panel in pencils anyway.

2020-02-22 21:55:26 +0000 UTCI love this, but I'm also kind of amazed you actually drew behind some of those balloons (if it wasn't for patreon, I would never know about the glorious standing robut that is going to be completely gone on page 5). If I was lettering this I would just be wracked with guilt covering any of it up.
