Prologue of Arc III

Just wanted give you guys a snippet from Chapter 66 ( or rather Chapter 1 Arc III)

The full chapter will likely be published on the 14th of August at which point it'll be back to 7 - 11/12 days.
I will also publish the first chapter of Hohenheim's requiem of a dream, one that is rewritten with flashbacks weaved into the story whilst more of his history will be revealed throughout the story. :)
I'll try and keep it to a shorter chapter size, back to the old 15k, especially since it's been causing me to burn out a little (think I wrote 80-90K alone for 64 P2, 65 P1&P2 plus all what I'm doing now!) without causing quality to reduce!

Yeah, won't do that - at least will try not to. I'm a big fan of establishing relationships with the reader with characters. Bringing in hundreds of new characters that have a major impact in the story out of nowhere is not really my style

2022-07-30 17:24:49 +0000 UTCYeah I tried to expand on what Emily and Atticus will be doing in the years between end of Arc II and Arc III so that people can dive into it fully informed of their plots. The prologue will keep you updated as to the going ons of the present and a few mentions of what's been done but I really don't want to be hung up too much on it. Especially when we've got to cover pretty much a century It'll be testing to be sure haha

2022-07-30 16:46:40 +0000 UTC:) Despite all the moral greys and outright villainous actions that were taken, ultimately I think that is an aspect that brings true joy to Atticus...that children can live freely, happily and even take adventures that doesn't put their lives in danger. Like any child should.

2022-07-30 15:55:22 +0000 UTCAwesome! A note: A common issue with time skips is that the time between is sometimes not properly explained, and that is a mistake a lot of authors make. You've already taken to covering that, by giving us insight into what has happened in the time since, with how far we are with Illos, the people there, and such. Obviously, there is a LOT more to cover then in the prologue. I wouldn't know how long you want to spend on this timespan. You can of course always add snippets here and there that allude or give more detail to the time skip in question. There are a bunch of ways to do so without making it an infodump, but yeah, just wanted to point out that a timeskip does require that the timespan in between gets at least some attention. A lot of people just do "I was very busy for the last X years, now I am an Archmage at the collage of Winterhold and the King of Skyrim... oh right, let's do 20 chapters about me hunting Vampires now, and ignore all what I just said."
