TnA Tuesday: Autumn Beauty

Sorry again about the delay, had some major muscle pains happening, which affected my sleep which in turn made it really hard to focus on making art, especially with that one day of light sensitivity. I need to dive straight into my next pin-up and it's been amusing me ever since it was suggested to me. You guys are going to get a kick out of it!

But before I skitter off to do that, I'd like to introduce everyone to this week's pin-up beauty; inspired by the cool weather that was happening when I started (and then abruptly stopped the other day and promises to stay fairly warm for the rest of the month, whoops).

I recently learned the best time to see Red Pandas being playful and  active at Zoos is in the cooler months, like late Autumn and Winter.

So  here we see Ms. Louella Chand - Lou or Lulu to her friends - quite  unafraid of the dropping seasonal temperatures, out on a stroll,  admiring the colours of Fall in her private backyard.

Louella has  always loved autumn; perhaps because of the happy tales her parents  love to repeat of her birth, on an unusually warm and dry autumn day,  and how they loved her even more when she was finally in their arms; or  perhaps due to the subsequent lavish birthday parties her parents would  throw for her every year, celebrating the turn of the season and a  reminder of the day their wonderful daughter came into their lives, with  lots of friends and relatives. Perhaps it's because it means winter is  nearing, and that means snow, hot cocoa, long colourful scarves and hats  with puff-balls on top. She would hesitate to say she loves winter, but  only because of the icy puddles that can ruin her nature walks on less  snowy days.

Though from a moderately wealthy household, Louella  has always prided herself on making her own money, starting at a young  age where she, aged 5, wandered around her cul de sac attempting to sell  “forever flowers”, which was basically fistfuls of daisies taped to  twigs. She made $3 and was eventually walked home by a concerned  neighbour. Her parents were concerned and startled that she had snuck  out of the house like that, and took away her TV privileges for a week.  She was honestly only upset about the whole situation, when the next  day, she realised her leftover forever flowers were wilting, the  fairy-themed tape she had used had failed to instill any fairy  magic. She was beside herself with distress, sniffling and sobbing,  wanting to give a refund but couldn't remember which house had bought  one. Eventually her parents managed to calm her down and assure her that  she wasn't a bad salesperson, and that the person who bought it  probably bought it knowing full well it might wilt.

After that  she made sure to clear her business ideas with her parents so they could  give her marketing advice and tips. That summer she made a $80 profit  selling lemonade & brownies. Then she wanted to 'save it like a  grown up' so her bemused parents took her to a bank to 'set up' a bank  account for her (she technically already had one, but she wouldn't know  until she was 13). She was a little disappointed to find out she wasn't  allowed to have a credit card yet.

Her school years went well,  she was neither the most popular, nor was she an outcast; friends came  and went as they grew and changed, sometimes reconnecting, sometimes  not, until graduation finally came around and she tearfully hugged her  closest friends, uncertain if they would stay in touch once they began  college. A few drifted further away, but remained politely in touch, but  others remained constant companions; hardly a day going by without  contact of some kind.

Originally planning on Majoring in  Business, to either one day start her own or possibly take over her  family's, she quickly became involved in animal rights, welfare rights  and conservation groups. Around this time she also embraced naturism and  continues to relish the chance to discard her clothes and experience  the essence of nature, unhindered, either alone or with like-minded  folk.

She has since become a spokesperson, public figure and  softcore pinup model; she encourages her fans to donate to charities  that she both unofficially and officially endorses. In particular, the  “Squeeze for Trees” campaign focuses on purchasing and planting new  trees in areas that need them; 100% of the money any of her fans spend  on her private corset-themed photos go directly towards it, and if they  reach the goal amount of $50k by the end of the month, she'll make and  release a special photoset of her having a romantic evening with another  lovely lady. (Louella herself is demisexual, but has had enough  experience and coaching to know how to look compelling on camera).
When  she takes breaks from modeling, she can be found volunteering at  shelters (both animal and people), attending charity events, and  fighting for more space for community gardens and centers in poorer  parts of the city, as well as the funding and construction of more  homeless/escape shelters.

The jewelry shown here is all significant to her;
-The  bracelets on her left wrist are from her parents, given to her on her  15th birthday, the pendant belonged to her great, great grandmother, a  Baroness, whom she is named after – though the original chain is lost to  the ages.
-The wider band on her right wist was a graduation present  from her maternal grandmother – the interior is inscribed with her  favourite words of encouragement, “Seek love, and give it if you find it  to be sparse.” (It sounds better in Pahari).
-The smaller band on  her right was a 1st anniversary present from her first serious  relationship. It went down in flames after a few years due to being  pressured to marry and start a family, a situation she felt unprepared  to commit to, at the age of 24. Her ex has since moved on, met a bubbly,  marathon loving physicist and started a happy family, (3 kids so far,  with twins on the way) and has apologised for asking of her more than  she was willing and able to give at the time. Louella has apologised for  initially making nervous, placating promises in regards to things she  was already uneasy and uncomfortable about resulting in the breaking of  many hopes, dreams and promises; and has since continued to grow more  out-spoken, confident in her convictions and more successful in her  career, as well as emotionally fulfilled by her philanthropy. That  bracelet reminds her that past unhappiness can still lead to present and  future happiness.

Louella is largely vegetarian, but she just  can't give up sesame seed, stir-fried ostrich, especially when her amah  (paternal grandmother) makes it. She has yet to master the recipe  herself, largely because her amah brews a lot of her own sauces and has  slyly kept the methods and recipes of THOSE to herself.

While  none of her family are necessarily ashamed of Louella's career choice,  her amah was the first to be outspokenly proud of her, saying that if  her body still looked like that, she would be modelling too, in a  heart-beat! She always makes sure to have business cards with free   trial-period codes in her handbag so she can give them to her friends   who have 'hot-blooded' grandchildren who could use more beauty in their  lives. Many assume that a lot of Louella's enterprising nature and  salesmanship has been inherited from her amah. They could very well be  right.

Louella has since cheekily introduced her grandmother to some photographers who specialise in the 'Mature' side of the market, and her amah intends to surprise everyone with her very revealing photoset being released on her 91st birthday. She was very pleased with the male model she worked with, and has since made several booty calls, much to his delight. If this lasts out the year, she will be introducing him to the rest of the family in the New Year.

As Louella approaches her later 30s, she is starting to wonder if perhaps she's finally ready to be a mother. She just needs to decide if she wants to find a partner, or just go straight to adoption or a sperm bank.

Fun Fact: She is currently on contract as a tail model for a line of organic, nature themed shampoos and body washes. This has allowed her a little extra time to focus on the art of making fake flowers... she may yet fulfill that dream of creating "Forever Flowers".
