I am just now watching this as I am new fan/subscriber! A couple things I’m not sure were pointed out, the girl she gives the 22 hat to was Kobe Bryant’s daughter that was a baby when he died. Also, on her show days she would refrain from speaking to anyone for the entire day just to save her voice for the show. Aaaannndddd, in order to get into shape for this tour she would run on a treadmill while singing the entire set list.

I went to LA night 1 where they filmed this movie (I'm a speck in this movie. I was in the nosebleeds with my sister and my little cousin and her mom) and the costume changes were really quick. She's there within seconds. But the pauses were so pretty. I think my favorite was a tie between the cut performance of The Archer and going to Fearless, the intro of going into Folklore, and 1989 beginning. I hope you watch the cut performances eventually. She really knows how to put on a show.

Learned this term was seen as a completely different meaning from when I grew up in the US as a 90's baby. In high school, I had a sweatshirt with the name "Sp*ztastic" on the back which at that time and moment meant "clumsy" or "overly energetic". They gave them extra-large light up bracelets to emphasize the effect, but at every single concert, every single person has a light up bracelet. I've been following you for at least 2 years now and I know that your reaction style can be goofy and chaotic at times. I've never faulted you for it. but with the 1989 tour reaction, for example, I remember several moments where if you had been singing or talking about something, you would go back a few seconds to catch what you missed. and that was the best of both worlds, because we were getting your jokes AND a genuine reaction. but with this eras movie reaction, there doesn't appear to be any of that. maybe it's because of how long it is and I know you've said you have trouble staying focused. as a person with ADHD I understand 100%. it is possible to appreciate the time and effort someone put into a video and also give them kind-hearted constructive criticism on said video. especially if you are paying to watch that person make the video. rude comments and bullying have absolutely no place. however, how should a content creator know what content to create if their subscribers are expected to never give any feedback other than "that was a 100% perfect video"? like i said, bullying, harassment, and rude comments have absolutely no place. and he should never be expected to change who he is or his interests/what he wants to talk about in his own videos. but i don't think it's crazy for some people to say they think there is room to grow and make the videos even better. 🤷🏻‍♀️ that's just my two cents and i understand why people are saying some of the comments are unacceptable because some of them are! troy, you should talk about anime and anything else you'd like to talk about in your own videos. and don't let hate drag you down. but i do think there is always room for growth for all of us and people should be able to share their opinions in a kind and constructive way. 🩷

The Eras Tour is an Experience and she literally told us we were meant to sing and dance along with the movie! The costume changes really were almost as quick as in the film! It was insane. The longest was maybe 2.5-3 mins? Not enough time to do anything other than snag a drink of water or sit for a hot second at the concert. I’ve been to plays that had longer quick changes for costumes! i agree 100%, the reason you make a reaction video is to watch and react to it. not to talk during it about other things and have your eyes closed and sing over the artist. he missed a lot of really great vocal performances during this concert because he was talking or singing over it. i agree, pausing and talking is the best way to go because i do wanna hear what he has to say obviously, just not during the performance. i really enjoy his videos and i've been a supporter for a little while now, so no judgment to him at all it's just my opinion.

This! So well said. I’m a new swiftie. I discovered her Long Pond Sessions and Folklore is what brought me into the fold. But I avoid a lot of her fan accounts on social media because if you disagree with one thing some of the swiftness say (not the good guys..the bad apples out there) they will bully you until you block them which I would think goes against what Taylor would want of new people discovering her music. I think what’s happening with midnights is kind of the same thing that happened for a lot of people with 1989. It over-saturated the radio in 2014 and a lot of people got “tired” of it. Midnights has broken all and more of the 1989 records and has been Top 10 for the entire year - I think it just needs a a break so that when people go back and listen again it’s fresh!

the breaks between fits were def longer than what they show but not by much tbh they took maybe 2-5 min each ish depending on if there was also set changes and what she was changing into-- like speak now took a sec cuz of the ball gown and other big set pieces took a sec too but I would say longest was like no more than 7 minutes. it also didn't feel like long because there were videos and shit playing on the screens for each era

I went to the LA show that was recorded for this. And the outfit changes were definitely not as quick as in the movie. Some of them were faster than others but there was graphics and monologues on the screens during outfit changes so you didn’t even realize cause your attention was glued to the screen lol.

I was at Chicago N3 and Seattle N2 and the show ends up being like 3.5 hrs, maybe 3hr 45min live between the talking, the Era transitions/outfit changes (which were never more than like 2 mins tops each), the long standing ovation for Champagne Problems, and all the songs that were cut from the movie (even the extended cut still is missing 'Tis the Damn Season from evermore and Cardigan from folklore). Not gonna lie, even as a pretty hardcore Swiftie it's still A LOT. I think for how much money this movie made it was lazy to not a) give us all the songs for the extended cut and b) to not CUT THEM IN WHERE THEY ACTUALLY BELONG. The transition live from Wildest Dreams to Bad Blood is soooo good and I can't for the life of me understand why that was one she chose to cut from the movie. I understand they were going for under 3hrs for the general film audience/be able to fit more screenings in but come on Taylor, lol. I'm still holding out hope that they will give us the full uncut concert when it's available to buy. But thanks for uploading this and glad you enjoyed it!
