So heres the titlecard for the Clean and Mud gang show.(I animated it lol)
the first 2 episodes are done already, but now we're tieing up the credits and titlecard audio and episode 2's audio work. we should be seeing the first episode up before the month ends or start of next month.
so heres the transparency on where this is heading.
While I created the idea of the "Clean and Mud gang" along with designing and coming up with the characters, I gave all responsibility and direction to my assistant animator to handle this series as his next "job" for working under me.
So right now, if you're aware of my patreon budget situation, or if you are not, please read this first talk about how I'm handling the patreon budget for 2022, its important and plays big context to this.

if you're caught up with that post above me, continue on.
So, for this series, I basically can only afford to factor a $1000 budget for a planned 5 episodes to my assistant animator to completely work from the ground up. and mainly thats pretty much being under-paid for any decent animator. So, an agreement was made that, for the first 2months of the animation's earned ad-revenue, will completely go to him. as mainly most of the earnings made of any video is generally the first month.
as I've told him to focus only on doing the animation(though he did the audio for the first episode) while I've to budget again for a soundman to sound the 4 episodes.
So you can see how tight my budget is with patreon as I've other projects I need to budget for audio work and not forgeting the tax I've to buffer.
So basically, this series comes down to the success of it, if it can get the views to earn a sustainable income for my animator to be paid for the work he put in. And you know how my animations have been doing lately on my channel, part of me is fearing that this series also won't get the sustainable views to support and pay my animator properly.
if it "flops" like get measly 50-80k views after a month, then yeah, the entire series is canned and I will see if the total earnings for him is ok for him or if I need to top up what he thinks is deserved.
if this series blows up, he gets a decent/sustainable payout from it, then yeah, he can consider doing more episode/as a side-job under my channel kind of deal.
of course, if I get more patreon pledges and support.... then I can raise the base-budget to pay him too..... so yeah, its pretty much a money issue now. if you know friends who are keen in supporting artist and folks, give my patreon a recommend and help grow my production budget!.
but again, thanks for the support into this, without this I doubt I would push my content to this level.
