I read that Love Sea is in the same universe at TharnType. Type's childhood friend, Khom, that comes out to him near the end of the series is the lead of the novel Love Sand. Love Sand stars Khom and Connor and is where we first meet Mahasamut. Then Love Sea is the novel starring Mahasamut and Tongrak.

2024-07-28 14:26:21 +0000 UTCLoved your commentary! This show is definitely a different pace- which I’m personally loving- but I’ve seen a lot of people complain about/dislike. The plot is very slow romcom (the island is very hard and fast lust while the stuff in raks house is slow romcom/ building of relationship) mut liked rak before he was on the island (due to pics he was sent and talking about him with Connor) and once they slept together, his feelings were very strong— and rak is someone who doesn’t believe in love even though he’s already falling in love. There is some drama, some weird family stuff, and rak has some serious daddy issues… but I like the maturity of it. Very realistic in my view- figuring out how to live together, how to deal with personality differences, shopping together, mixing family. I will say I think they left out key scenes from the book that would make the show more palatable for more people- raks jealous mind and muts inner thoughts but overall they are following the book pretty well.
