Alyx: " I would have gone home!" Me: LOL Same. I would have been like, Nope, I'm done! In Japan they introduce themselves as last name then first name. Sometimes the subber will flip it for international people and it can make it confusing. Sagawa is his last name and Taichi is his first name. Sugihara is his last name and Kohei is his first name. They are using first names to address eachother.

2024-08-26 23:40:51 +0000 UTCI’m loving this series so far! Taichi is so precious 🥹 Personally I like it more than the movie (as of 3 eps in), although I haven’t read the books. Like you suggested, I think as a tv show there is more time for them to dive into the details of the story and develop the characters more. Also there were previews, that’s what the random clips at the end of the episode were! (I think you missed the caption that said “next episode” — a bit confusing bc there’s not much of a freeze frame or anything in between).
