(my favoritesssss lol) You're right, It was supposed to be its own history series, but some reason we got history 4 instead. Since it's a book.. there was a trailer release to promote the book in 2021. Everyone was begging for it to be made into a series. So happy it was!!

The chemistry between the two couples is everything and the story itself is very interesting to me. I don't know if you've learned the names of the characters yet, but I thought I'd help you out with our four main characters. The first one (the tall student) is Bai Zongyi. He's 17 years old when he meets the gangster, which explains why he gets called kiddo, and he dreams of becoming a doctor. Bai Zongyi's love interest (the daddy gangster) is Fan Zherui. He's 25 years old when he meets Bai Zongyi and out of the three gangsters we know, he's the one who has spent the least amount of time in the gang. The short blond one is Ai Di (or Eddie, depends on the traduction). He's 17 or 18 years old when the flashback starts and as you can probably already guess, he has some anger issues. Finally, Ai Di's friend (the tall gangster) is Chen Yi. He's 20-21 years old at the start of the flashback and he's the only one who can cool down Ai Di. Hope that helps with memorizing the names and who's who hahaha!

But it’s written by the same person who wrote trapped as well so I think that’s why it feels so much like it. I love this series! Every character I love. So excited for you to get farther in!
