Are us artists being pushed out of our rightful place by MACHINES? How tf am I supposed to compete with that? Do I even need to? What possibilities are out there for me as a freelancer?
I have yet to play around with AI software, since I am still researching the best programs to use and how to enrich my creative process instead of hindering it. I don't want my art to become an automated body of replicas. I want it to be more original and derive from the things that surround me-the everyday inspiration that comes to me naturally.
Maybe it's far too early to tell what the benefits or consequences might be for all of us. Maybe it's a little scary, but also maybe I can make use of this newfound knowledge. Here is to exploring new worlds and merging my art with the inevitable shift towards a digitally-infused universe.
