Happy Sunday! Hope you're doing well.

This week I've been busy working on Nene’s side story.

It's so hard to show off without spoiling too much so I try to be selective with the screenshots.

It’s been a fun challenge since I’m adapting a script written by Beriya, who I commissioned to handle the writing. That means I’ve had to make new sprites and depict scenes I hadn’t planned for—like a full body shot of Nene on a stepladder.

Another fun one is a comparison shot of Nene next to some construction workers, really driving home how tiny she is.

A big focus of this story is showing just how small Nene feels in the world, which leads naturally into her moment of getting her hands on the serum. We also decided this would be a great time to introduce the Goth girl—the same girl Kasumi mentioned in Chapter 5 as having stolen serum.

Since the story involves the StrongGirls Club, we’re also bringing back the bouncer. I gave her a full redesign—ditched the tie and button-up shirt, and gave her a tougher “don’t mess with me” look in a black tank top.
I had 2 reasons for redesigning her.

• She was originally made with the old art model so she was due for an upgrade.

• Her old sprite is too big and was never made to be on the screen along with other characters.

I hope the redesign works for you!

All in all, this is a really fun story and I’m having a blast pulling it all together. As for release, I’d say closer to next weekend, since I’ll need a day or two for proofreading and feedback. Many key pieces are already complete like Nene's giga size, and other fmg scene.
