[Hereafter] Chapter CLXXV: No Plan Survives
Added 2024-11-30 17:14:41 +0000 UTCVery technically, the last chapter of the London intermission. I thought about filling the space with a little more fluff...but I couldn't think of anything that wouldn't bloat out into several more chapters, and I didn't want to do that. Starting a new subplot right after dropping so much hinting and foreshadowing about America felt too awkward and out of place.
So, next chapter begins the North American Epic Tragedy. Neither you guys nor the team is prepared for what I have coming down the pipe, and I already have a half-written interlude that is just waiting for its chance to make it on the docket.
In the meantime, fluff of an entirely different sort is in this chapter, and I hope your metaphorical teeth rot from it.
EDIT: Moving down all the way. 1/18/2025

I'm super late on this, as holidays and other real life events distracted me, but this was very good.

2024-12-03 03:49:25 +0000 UTCIt's an interesting look to see that whilst Taylor was worried about how Jackie would handle being without her two then having those thoughts shift to how she might handle it worse being without Jackie only done walking on Olga Marie realize that no Marie is definitely taking it the worst. It's a nice step back and examine the situation moment. In hindsight obviously Marie is not okay with sending the person most important to her into a death trap designed to kill her. If it's moments like this between those two that make me really curious how the story would handle things with the alien god? Because even though I've read your previous work, that "of course Director" has "as you wish" levels of I love you from the princess bride. Whilst Taylor doesn't have any physical attraction towards her I feel like they skipped that part and went straight to we're married just without the papers. Now for some predictions for the start of the singularity. With all the talk about transportation and what to do if they're scattered. I think it's pretty clear that they're not landing at the same point, meaning that the masters will individually have to make it to the bay at different times. Meaning that Taylor Will have one of three things happen land the farthest away, have the slower form of transportation, or get stuck with the most conflict stalling her.

Second, it's funny seeing Taylor hate herself for things that she holds herself more accountable for than the people she hurt. Theo specifically forgave her, so I'm pretty sure she hates herself for killing Aster more than he does, since he just blames Jack Slash for putting her in the situation that THAT was pretty objectively the right choice.

2024-11-30 19:26:05 +0000 UTCOh my god it finally starts......the most notable change i can think is the death of Teylor herself in her first appearance....I wonder if they will see Servant! Teylor and what class she will appear in Rider(Atlas), Assacin(she kill Alexandria), Caster(her normal actions), or Archer(....the bugs come out as projectiles).....or Berserker(kheperi)
