[Hereafter] Chapter CLXV: Auld Lang Syne

Now we start to move forward a little bit more, and next chapter, we keep jumping. There's going to be a lot of those to account for the fact that America isn't going to start until, like, March in-story. The twins and Taylor have a lot of downtime to look forward to, which will...probably mean some more vacation shenanigans and stuff and at least one more training session in the simulator.
For now, though, some setup (it will be very obvious what that is) and some fluff (because you guys seem to love Jackie and Taylor being a Totally Normal Family).

2024-10-09 23:43:58 +0000 UTCI know it isn't, but now I'm just imagining that Taylor asking Da Vinci to figure out alternate clothing for Jackie has led to her discovering the existence of Saint Graph Modification and how it can be tied together with swapping out Spiritron Dresses. It would allow the introduction of Append Skills in order to let James modify the skills of the Servants to fit his story better (EMIYA getting Load Magical Energy to let him have a stockpile of magical energy that he can use to supplement the active draw on Chaldea and Rika, Mordred maybe picking up Skill Reloading to strengthen her Knight of Crimson Thunder, Aife get Extra Attack Finesse Improvement to strengthen her general damage in combat, etc).
