Glad you liked it! be there for your MOM bcuz it sounds like she did a great job raising you! thank you for the kind words ^_^ Merry Christmas and have a great time with your mom!

I’m so glad you guys appreciated this movie as much as you did. I loved watching along with you. It means so much toy me as it’s my Mum’s favourite movie and she is the most giving person I know. She had a stroke, then my Dad died, and is in a home alone, so I’m going back for Christmas to watch it with her. And Marian I understood what you were trying to say about Jordan Peterson. It was those words that actually made me rekindle my Christianity. And if you both ever come to London then you have a friend here that will help you out! Merry Christmas 🎄

Thank you Dave! wish you Lovely Weekend!

I had never seen this movie or knew what it was about. I cried several times! Resonates so much. What a gift.

Lionel Barrymore, Mr. Potter, is Drew Barrymore’s great uncle. She is from an acting family, including her great aunt and her grandfather. Her ancestors have been actors for hundreds of years.

So glad you finally watched this movie. I have never seen anyone who watched it that did not tear up with joy, smile with happiness or think deeply about their life and revaluate what is important to them. It is not often a move that is over 75 years old can still affect people in such a positive way. Great reaction and thoughtful review. I have only known you for a short time, but I feel like I've known you two for longer. You are good people with a good heart and I am glad to have found your channel. Hope for more great things in the future. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Mr Jordan

You do me too much honor, you two -- thank YOU for a wonderful holiday gift. By the way, I like the phrasing of this: "so warm and welcoming your comment is!". Oh.... Jedi Master.... Yoda, You Speak Yoda! :-)

Sam Johnson

so warm and welcoming your comment is! i can't describe in words what i felt watching this movie... it was just amazing! we are caught out to disbelieve or to deny better said.. God's existence or even the idea of it... when in reality our very conscience relies on it... a word that i read it somewhere and i really love goes like this ''what good is a tree that bears no fruit? a shadow or shade? it's existence is not without notice.. small and big creatures find shelter inside of it, on top or below.. that is because God doesn't create anything that doesn't bear fruit'' Thank you Sam for being part of our small community! Happy Holidays to you and your family! God Bless you!

glad you liked it! Merry Christmas to you too!

I know! :) Thank you, my dear friends! Sincerely, Heidi

I can see how invested you are in this movie, the love for this movie can be seen from a mile away haha! but who cannot love this movie? ^_^

It’s A Wonderful Life is a Christmas present within a Christmas present within a Christmas Present. It is, by no great surprise, very popular among United States of America and North American Audiances. And, like the societies of that nation and continent, owes a lot of its meaning to parent and grandparent stories from across an ocean, a sea, and time. The ocean is the Atlantic, where, among other nations, one known as the United Kingdom exists. This nation was home to an author named Charles Dickens who wrote a novella in 1843 titled A Christmas Carol. It’s A Wonderful Life has a lot in common with that particular story. In fact, It’s A Wonderful Life is effectively a version of A Christmas Carol told from the point of view of the struggling middle class provider instead of the point of view of the oppressive miser. Even the ghost and spirit entities of both A Christmas Carol and It’s A Wonderful Life are hauntingly similar. Whereas A Christmas Carol uses three ghosts from the past, present, and future to provide enlightenment on the true meaning of Christmas and life, It’s A Wonderful Life reduces the spiritual influences down to a single angel named Clarence that focuses on exclusively the past. So what we have here in It’s A Wonderful Life are echos of another beloved Christmas story from the cultural inheritance of one of the parent nations of the United States of America. It’s A Wonderful Life is very much a rearticulation of A Christmas Carol with the story of the middle class provider extended in depth, and the miser’s story shorted and honed to serve as an antagonist to be overcome. The sea is the Mediterranean where, across it heading east from the United Kingdom, lies, among other places Israel, within which is nestled Bethlehem. A Christmas Carol uses three ghosts to present its miser with a deeper meaning of Christmas and life. The ghosts’ collective goal in A Christmas Carol is to enable appreciation. Similarly, at the foot of the manger of Jesus, the person to whom all things Christmas is owed, were, anoung others, three wise kings who were guided to a birth and bestowed upon a then virtually unknown living being their own form of appreciation. Time has held a long tradition of appreciation being one of the central tenants of Christmas. Using the birth of one child, the revelation of life’s true beauty to a lonely miser, and the joyous empowerment of a person and his family in their time of need, we can see appreciation of one and all; we can appreciate ourselves beyond ourselves. As someone who celebrates multiple holidays during this time of year, Christmas being but one of them, I’m really appreciative that a story like this has garnered so much heartfelt sentiment from so many. And, I’m greatly appreciative that a family took precious moments of their time to share with us, always acceding to requests for their appreciation, a simple truth of season for this time of year — human sharing nature, part of the core of all forms of appreciation, is a gift upon which we can rely upon and celebrate all throughout the flow of time. Thank you very much to Marian and Joy for all you have given, and to your daughter, and all of your family members whose souls radiate through you every time you give. I am very appreciative for your family and people like you in the world! Happy Holidays!

Sam Johnson

That was lovely! Enjoy your Christmas and blessings in the new year.

It's a Wonderful Life- Thank you so very much for watching this incredible and beautiful Christmas classic I love so much for me and everyone, Joy and Marian!! I truly appreciate it, and I am so happy that you really loved this movie as well!! :) I love George Bailey's character, and I absolutely love Jimmy Stewart in this role of George Bailey. Jimmy Stewart is a fabulous actor, and his most famous and iconic role is most definitely here in this classic from 1946. George is such a good and kindhearted man who sacrifices all of his dreams to help everyone else he loves, then nearly loses everything in a sad twist of fate. I absolutely love seeing how everyone in their town comes together in the end to help George and his family when they need them all the most, as they show their gratitude for all George has done for them all. It's so beautiful, and seeing George come to see how much he's done for everyone is incredible! "No man is a failure who has friends." These words are more true than we could ever hope to understand. This is why it is so important to love and be kind to everyone around us, without any expectations for rewards in return. And George most certainly lived his life this way. I also love Clarence, and how he helps George come to see how much of an impact his life has truly made on everyone throughout Bedford Falls, by making it so that George had never been born so that George can see the truth, with another angel's help, of course. The message throughout this movie is so beautiful and powerful. Because we all impact each others' lives in ways we couldn't possibly ever begin to understand. And George truly is a given a beautiful gift when he does come to see for himself how much he is loved by so many people. Everyone is wonderful throughout this movie. I love George and Mary, as well as their kids, Clarence, George's kid brother, Harry, Uncle Billy, and all of their friends. Especially Bert the cop and Ernie the taxi driver. And I even love Old Man Potter... a character I love to hate. A brilliant actor from back in this time. Thank you so very much once again for reacting to It's a Wonderful Life for us all, my dearest friends!! I absolutely love watching your reactions for this movie, and I loved listening to your commentaries too. It's a Wonderful Life most certainly touches my heart every time I watch it, just as it touches everyone's hearts who watch this beautiful and powerful movie. And I have watched this movie many, many, many times, from ever since I was a little girl. And not just at Christmas time, even though this movie hits us the most when watched at Christmas time, most certainly. And I hope you both know how much your kindness, joy, and all your efforts here on your channel mean to me. You're wonderful, Marian and Joy! Thank you once more for all you do for us!! :) Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!! :) Sincerely, Heidi
