And yeah, thinking about how long Nyles was in that time loop is horrifying. I definitely believe he didn't remember much about his life before it. (You could never forget your dog though!) It's been confirmed he was in the loop for about 40 years, so not quite a millennium, but still a long time. So, the film sold for a record amount at Sundance. Funnily enough, it originally matched exactly the previous highest amount, but they asked for $0.69 more because of course they did... (This was Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer, one of the other members of TLI...)
