This was great, one of my favorite reactions of yours and to this album, especially since this is my 6th listen of this album and the melodies are still growing on me and making me change my songs rankings. Been a *massive* Gaga fan since '09 and its always great seeing someone recognize just how absurdly talented she is, especially as a songwriter and vocalist. One of her strongest skills imo is her ability to translate the vibe of other artists into her music while still making it her own, and still having *her* own signature sound that's just as strong. It takes an incredibly precise musical ear, and I think her classical training helps her out here. I can hear MJ in Shadow of a Man, Prince and Bowie in Killah, Taylor in How Bad Do U Want Me, and Whitney in The Beast, with Madonna sprinkled throughout the album. Like a lot of those artists, you don't get the full Gaga experience without the music videos and live performances (she did Abracadabra and Killah on SNL last night, would be really cool to see you react to those 2), so if you plan on doing a deep dive starting with "The Fame" you should definitely check out the extra visual stuff. Again, super fun reaction!
