I found it very relaxing translating these exquisite structures into cute top-down pixel art. I was already familiar with about half of these churches, but it was fun to discover and learn about the ones I didn't know of. I'm actually not religious, but I dig architecture and churches are by far the most interesting buildings in the region. With few other structures of great interest around here this series has helped me better appreciate these marvels. I even learned some new architectural and religious terms in the process. I hope you all enjoyed the series! The next series starts at the beginning of next month. If you haven't voted yet there is still a week left to choose the theme for the next series.
