Dev Log 10/05/2023 - Crimson High v0.24

Ho! How's it going, fellow fellows and felines (yes, I know)?

Since I haven't made a dev log thingiemablob for this update cycle, I figured now is as good a time as any, so.. here we are!
This time I wanted to try something new, by adding some of my CH-related thoughts, as well as adding preview images for the upcoming update. While you could argue that this completely voids the "preview channel" benefit of most of the tiers on here, I think the delay, between when I posted them there and making this post here now, should be fine.
Let me know if you think otherwise and/or what you think about any of the contents of this log, either under this post, or on Discord!

Now, for the update itself: It's coming along really nicely and I hope to be able to finish it within a week from now - maybe even around the weekend already. Once I know for sure, I'll make a release schedule post as usual.

Do you guys know what's really upsetting, though? The internet!
I know, right? That's not news at all. We all know that the internet is a weird place where you can find all sorts of characters. Even people who think Crimson High is "a standard Koikatsu VN with standard images and no redeeming qualities whatsoever". Weird, isn't it?! It's like they've mixed up their games and confused CH with something else!
Luckily it's just a single voice among all of you guys' astonishingly positive reviews and feedback! Which is kind of the point of this tangent - I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your feedback! Be it by actually voicing your thoughts about CH, or by the simple act of becoming a patron (which all of you have in common, because you're able to read this (excluding you, Mr. Pirate - yes, I see you there)).
For those of you who have told me before that they would love to join a higher tier but can't do so for whatever reason: your feedback is worth a lot on its own! Don't worry about not being able to become a SECSI. If you've ever left a comment or even a review/rating on one of the sites where CH can be found, you've done a lot in supporting me in my endeavor to create this piece of bundled joy! A positive review/comment helps other people to decide whether they want to give CH a chance!
And if you haven't.. well, there's still time to do so. Itch and [other sites] (hello again, Mr. Pirate) are ripe for plucking! Don't let the Negative Nancys out there be the only ones who voice their opinion! Get out there and spread the word! Let everyone know how weird slash fun slash comfortable CH is!
Or don't. Honestly, you being here, reading my rambling is already worth a lot, like I said up there. Thank you for being here and supporting CH. :)

Anyhow, now that that's been talked about, let's talk about, uh.. boobs? No wait, that's no good. How about..

.. slightly upset Jun? I'm not sure why that would be better than boobs, but here you go. Now start fretting about why she'd be upset and why Suzu has such a hard time deciding whether she wants to console her or not.

Meanwhile I'll conclude this train wreck of a dev log and go back to playing Far Cry 5 and/or petting my cat's belly.
