Dev Log 12/01/2023 - Crimson High v0.20

Hey there!

I hope 2023 is treating you guys well. For me it's been great so far!

But enough about that, we're here today for a reason, and that reason is to talk about v0.20 and what I'm going to do with it!
The short of it is: I still don't know!

Let me explain..
Since the last amazing Dev Log Thingie, I've been writing the script for v0.20, which is now at the length of one usual update (~15k words). However, I don't feel like stopping to write right now. Quite the opposite, actually. I've rarely had as easy of a time with writing as I'm having currently, with them fancy words basically just flowing out of me, and I think it would be stupid to stop while it's going so well. So instead I will keep writing until I've either finished the whole Saturday in-game, or until I'm running out of steam. Not today, of course, because it's already 7 pm my time, but over the next couple days. If I get another two or three days like today, I'll have the whole day finished early next week. But like I said, that's only if I can keep this momentum going.

What this means for the next update is that instead of next weekend (like I had initially aimed for) it could be the middle of the week after for a release of 0.20 ("Part 1"). That is unless I decide to go for the full day when I have the script for it ready, of course.
Should I decide against it, it would mean decreased development time for 0.21 (or 0.20 Part 2, but we're not going to call it that officially) and therefore two updates in relatively quick succession. Maybe 1-2 weeks apart, tops.
But again, that's mostly speculation at this point since I don't yet know for how long I keep my current momentum.

What I can say about v0.20 (however long it's going to be) is that it's going to be awesome! There's so much stuff happening already and it all works so well together! There's fun and action and romance and steamy moments and boy am I excited for you guys to see it, once it's done!

But yeah, we'll see when that'll actually be.

TL;DR: I'm on a roll and I'll keep going until I run out of steam. Bear with me here, next update's gonna be a nice one!

That's pretty much it for now and I'll go look for some food now because my belly's a bit too empty for my liking right now.
