First part of a brand new PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE with the wunderschรถn Laura - is out today. ๐
Eventhou the vibe in this new set ain't that far from our last shoot, it's still unique in it's own way. ๐คฉ๐ค๐ป First of all we wanted to distinguish the look by combining colored light with the use of a flash - and second; she personally evolved. ๐ฅน
So, first of, was the brainstorming on how to differ from our last shoot. What could be done, within the same perimeters of the location - and how far could we take it? ๐๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
We didn't want to go buy all sort of fancy stuff, since we both like the idea of 'less is more' and creating as much as possible with as few possible props as possible. ๐ฅณ
Honey, Lauras wonderful roomie who has her own series coming out very soon by the way, suggested we made use of a large piece of latex she had stored up somewhere - and so we did! ๐
We started out by dusting it off and moistorizing it as much as possible. It wasn't meant to be soaked but having tiny visible dropplets would be a neat feature, we thought. ๐ฆ So Honey sat out to moist it while Laura changed to lingerie.. ๐ฅ

(A still from the video we released last month, showing the 'Behind The Scenes' process of this shoot. Here it's Honey moisting the latex we went on to use on most of the photos)
Next up was to find a fitting spot for it.
I had this idea of having Laura laying in the middle of it and shooting from directly above her and down on her, having the latex visually filling the whole frame of the photos background. โบ๏ธ
We quickly discovered that we wanted some 'texture' / depth in the perspective, so underneath the latex we placed tons of pillows, creating this various looking scene with Laura in the middle. ๐ค๐ป It was a win/win, because it was much more comfy for Laura to lay on, but it did create some dramatic looks for the photo, which I liked.
I then used two Nanlite Pavotubes RXII to create some artsy lighting, while having the GODOX V1 PRO flash mounted on the Canon R5. For this setup I shot with the Canon 24-70 mm f./2.8 L USM III lens, because of the room available when standing on a chair shooting down on Laura. ๐ค

(Photo on the left: Me holding on of the Pavotubes, shining blue, to show how the latex is reflecting when moisted. Photo to the right: How I ended up having one of the tubes placed, while angled upwards shooting directly into the ceiling)

(Above; here's how it actually looked as we shot the photos)
We kept this setup for photos #03, #06 & #10, except we removed the pillow to get a flat surface again, while Laura was sitting. I turned off the flash for photo #10 by the way - and as you can see, I adjusted the light on both of the Pavotubes to shine red for photo #03 & #06.
Lastly we wanted to switch perspective. Obviously we needed some photos with Laura standing up as well - so I suggested we still made use of the latex backdrop, but instead of having it laying on the ground, I sat up some tripods and with the use of a few clamps, I hung up the latex sheet. ๐คฉ๐๐ป
Now, we could all of a sudden all sorts of stuff - with Laura standing. ๐๐๐ป

(Above is a view of the setup on rest of the photo we shot while standing, in this part of the series. Second part involves a few other setups which differ even more from what you just saw. ๐คช)
Last but not least; the two parts are divided in such way that it's completely different setups - which means you'll see some totally other stuff, which I haven't talked about yet.. ๐๐ฑ
As always: Please feel free to ask away about whatever you want to know about this shoot! โบ๏ธ Technical stuff, practical stuff, tips or tricks - or simply just let me know what you think. ๐ฅณ๐๐ป
