Singapore: Rami
Added 2023-11-17 01:47:10 +0000 UTCRami was a beefy guy I'd been talking to on instagram for sometime about shooting - whenever I made my way back to Singapore.
Well, after 5 years outside of Asia, I finally made it back this month! Singapore was my first stop and Rami was on my list. There were some challenges that came up on this trip, but I made do and made it work as best as I could. Because I was arriving during a holiday period, many people (including guys I wanted to shoot) were out of town. The holiday was Diwali and though Rami and his family observe the holiday, he was still ok to shoot on the day itself and in between his family functions. I'm grateful for his determination to make the shoot happen 😂
Naturally, despite beautiful, blue skies and sunshine in the days before and after - the day of the shoot was cloudy, dark and then just full on rain, rain, rain. Rami chose the location - an abandoned warehouse out in the suburbs. We made do and by the end had a great shoot - albeit maybe a little dark and moody - but I can always get into that😏
