There was an emergency. A goat emergency.
Added 2024-02-14 02:13:50 +0000 UTCAnd we need to tell you about now.
I hope that if any of you are ever unfortunate enough to experience a goat emergency that you will have someone caring to talk with about it.

Wondering if any of the Winged Hussars have read the James Herriot books? I could think of nothing else during this episode. For the uninitiated, these books are a semi-autobiographical account of an English country vet in the 1930s and 40s. They are beautiful, hilarious and strangely moving. You will absolutely feel things. The audiobooks are masterpieces as well.

2024-02-16 16:06:18 +0000 UTCDestin, your story reminds me of the many times I had to help my dad pull calves when some of our cows had complications. Growing up in that was second nature but fast forward to when I was working on a farm while in college I had to pull a calf with a group of guys who had no idea what to do. After we pulled the calf, we all had a lot of the same emotions you and your family experienced
