More scripting...

Wow, writing a simple serial like Adventure is on the Horizon, with a straightforward main plotline and minimal main characters is so much easier than keeping all the actually important throughlines in Fatal Girl moving and functioning as I re-order episodes and shift stories around in the season two scripts.

There is just so much going on! A bit of it was hinted in season 1, but a lot came as I finished scripting that, so there was also a lot of back-checking, to make sure anything i contradict could be reconciled later.

When I wrote the first episode, it was just a challenge to myself, like so many others - "could I write a dark anime and dance around the edge of tentacle hentai in a slightly silly way, and all in audio?" And it worked, but before I had finished mixing the first one, the second one was written, again sort of poking fun at a certain dark adult anime series. But the third one just came to me, and by then, the characters were talking for themselves, in my head, and that's why I always recommend Baby Love as the episode where the show hits its stride.

By now, the main cast is four, with a main secondary cast of another dozen recurrents or major minor characters, all with agendas and plotlines of their own.

And a five-season (6 episodes each) plot arc to complete.

Yikes.
