Before Stan Sakai struck gold with Usagi Yoyimbo, he was drawing a different rabbit hero, one Nilson Groundthumper. A contest was announced where readers were invited to guess just what kind of critter Nilson's sidekick, Hermy was. The above is my entry to this contest. I think it won, too!
