Not watched the review but saw the film today. I liked it. Felt like an actual film rather than a re-edited mess. The end was like an overblown DrWho. I liked the characters. Could have had more of all of them. Weasel spin off!

I'm not surprised it bombs... the stench of the 2016 "Suicide Squad" still lingers around this one and I'd say people are fucking sick of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn... at least I am. Love the character as voiced by Kaley Cuoco in the animated series, though...

Wish I had a monocle that would move Mike's chair 2 inches back so he'd actually be in focus. I'm glad you guys liked it, I thought it was a lot of fun and the characters really grew on me (god when Nanaue was getting endlessly shit on towards the end I started crying because there's something wrong with me). The R rating was well taken advantage of, especially in that lab scene. Also my heart grew three sizes when Jay said Elliot Page without skipping a beat.

I'm a bit bummed we didn't get Rich's opinion on the film, I was looking forward to hearing him talk about comic books. Great episode tho!

RLM always has these little comments that make me laugh. Mr. Plinkett's "I'm surprisingly spry for a man with all the covid" got a chuckle from me. In regards to suicide squad, I think it's the fact James Gunn went so deep into the D level supervillains that no one was really going to complain about Ratcatcher II or Mongal. Also it maybe that James Gunn has a lot of nerd cred to his name thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy. No one is going complain compared to a Zack Synder or some new director. Great video, fellas.

Nice, pleasant video as always! I'd go watch your Monocle Man movie. You got something there Mike. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of in the movie was the whole Harley Quinn thing. Got nothing against the character, but I felt like she was added because she's popular. Her whole arc by herself was less interesting than everything else and made the movie longer for little reason. Are you guys going to talk about the new Shyamalan movie?

The opening skit reminded me why I love globalism. [<- in a sarcastic voice]. An RLM skit on current issues in the USA, accurately reflects the BS that is going on in Germany. [cut to the boy saying "sad" from the Kelly Bear video]. Anyway, thank you for this new Half in the Bag.

Saw this movie yesterday and it was fun. But I feel like watching this review and how little it actually talks about the movie in over 40 minutes also reflects what the movie is quiete nicely. I feel Iike there is no reason to watch this a second time or have great conversation about.

Actually never watched the first one, it's a DC movie so why would I? ;-) But I watched this one (in the cinema!) since it's a James Gunn movie...... and I liked it. It's good, not the greates thing ever or the best thing Gunn's ever done, but cool.

I think my favorite thing about the movie is it let the characters...be themselves. Harley is actually crazy and not just "lol I'm so random!" as in the first suicide squad movie. Peacemaker goes full on "anything for peace" in the end, he doesn't get some forced redemption arc where he changes his ways.

Some inner sense told me that you were going to post this tonight (it’s 11:40pm here in Sydney) yeah - finally - what’s more I fixed my VPN problem and watched the actual movie this afternoon so it’s fresh in my mind, looking forward to watching this - let’s see if our thoughts on the movie align. edit: Yep their review did align 🤣🤪 I thought the music choices were great and I like Gunn and suspected it would be great. Love that the guys did a skit at the beginning, and enjoyed this review - oh and yeah mask wearing and fully vaccinated too, we live in lockdown world
