My biggest takeaway: the writers of this film knew how to really take advantage of the universe. A lot of superheroes/villains don't need explanation and actually thrive from not being explained. Big superhero rule that I hope others take advantage of! (esp when it comes to people who's origin is a magical helmet :) )

Honestly, I’m glad they skipped Deadpool 2. It IS boring for those who aren’t big movie fans. Imagine if you aren’t a movie nerd and people are laughing at the pop culture references in the theatre but you, you’d feel so dumb and out of place. Point is, the writers relied on film buff, a subculture that isn’t universal, and the movie was almost devoid of real and well-written jokes.

I watched Critters when I was way too young. I remember thinking that I actually saw one afterwards. I pointed towards fridge and hysterically yelled CRITTERS!!!!!

I remember this being one of the first "Horror" movie I really enjoyed. I mean, "gremlins" was great but this one made me laugh out loud. I was in 8th grade when it came out. Fuck I'm old. "Prince of darkness" came out the following year. Now that movie scared the shit out of me.
