This video was so terrible, it would have been IMPROVED with 20 minutes of black screen.

For a better -- or at least more interesting -- take on the "evil embalmed lady wants to take over the world" theme, you might check out Hammer's "Blood from the Mummy's Tomb" from 1971. Weird that Hammer did much better movies based on Universal's old monsters than Universal is doing now.

I never wish to see this movie for fear of having my middle finger raised the entire runtine; very strenuous.

Would it be possible for you guys to put in the description of these videos whether Mike/Jay recommended the film(s)? I try to avoid watching them until after I've seen the movie, but if it's not worth seeing, I can just watch the reviews for sheer entertainment value.

Any chance of a re:View of Bride of Frankenstein, or indeed its precursor Frankenstein?

It was so bad. So god damn bad. And no, it doesn't work even for nonUS citizens. It's a crappy bad movie, that made me squirm with discomfort

Okay, I get trailers for The Mummy as ads. That's... amusing. Also, that trailer for the monsters universe with the action movie music, I thought that was something the RLM crew had done as a gag... but apparently not. Oh my.

Sounds like the makers of Lady Terminator might have a claim too. Was there a killer vagina snake? P.S. I'm not a lady - I'm an anthropologist.

I kept forgetting this Mummy movie was even coming out, so I decided to take a look at the list of the other 2017 summer movies still to come - I thought Wonder Woman turned out to be a pleasant surprise (based on DC's track record) but there's really nothing at all to get excited about this year, so that sucks for enjoying movies this summer, but probably means we'll get some stellar HitBs out of roasting all these turkeys

One of the best HitB - nobody does the 'here's why Hollywood made this terrible decision' analysis better than you guys - I think you're right about Cruise wanting a piece of the pie - if memory serves he turned down playing Ironman for Marvel which he (and his agent) probably deeply regret, so I think that may be a factor also of wanting to be the RDjr of his own cinematic universe

Damn! That was probably one of my favourite Half in the Bag so far.

From the first trailer, my only thought was, "Why does this exist?"
Half in the Bag, I mean.
