So, you should have seen this pop in
All the patreons say stuff about it, and tbh i've read a lot of thing, i think are wrong informations, so i rather explain it too, the way i got it

So, to resume :

Patreon app on IOS will not support biling that ain't going through IOS
Will impact only new members
Patreon site via browser is the best way to support me, don't use the app
Now the extended cut:

Patreon got an app, you can follow and suscribe to peoples via the app, Apple decided that now, all the monetary interaction of the patreon app should be issued via their ios app.

It impact ONLY user of IOS devices
and those that use the patreon APP

So if you connect to patreon directly via a browser
or are on a machine that isn't from apple for your patreon app (windows/android etc) it don't impact you

Also it ll impact only new members. And seems it also kick into my billing system. Patreon is kinda blury here, but whatever my opinion stay the same

Don't use patreon app

They try to push it forward, put fonctionality easy to make on browser exclusive to the app only to push it forward, and then such shits happen, and their option is "you'll be able to increase your billing on ios to counter the loss"
So no "ok we remove ourselves from IOS"
just "here is a tool to charge your new user more"

So, if you're using the patreon app, STOP, switch to the browser and connect to the site.
Best way to avoid this, because believe me, Apple did it, windows ll clearly be able to do it too.
