Here we are folks, let's go

Workflow:

Today took my weekly day off, doodled a bit in my sketchbook, but was most of the day chilling and advancing on my read. Got several book i bought last month and never find the time to start =D
So out of that, what to expect this week? Well, first i'll work on HQ rewards and comms. Ideas is sketching and roughing in the morning, the rewards and the comms, and the afternoon work on the rewards. Wanted also to start with the HQ for once. And that's about it for that part X)

Reading:

Recently started Gideon the ninth, the first volume of the locked tomb series, and.. it's actually surprisingly refreshing.
A lot of fantasy novel kinda try to go in the classical way of tale or style of writing. Here the autor kinda go more in a modern style. Characters sware, talk with crass, most things loose their shines. Someway it remember me a bit of Terry Pratchet, in the , let's take fantasy and give it a modern spin.
The universe is a blend of Sci fi and fantasy. We're in a solar system, with several planet, each belonging to one house of Necromancer, and all serving the first house, the one of the undying lich king (totaly not Nagash). Story follow the Ninth house that kinda loose of it superb, so much that when the nine houses are called to choose who will become the King next head servant/voice (stillnot clear what the position is about in my point in the book) they got to jump on it with all they have (not much) to hope to get some much needed power to kickstart their house into shape once more.
The two head characters are Gideon, an indentured servant, skilled with swords, lesbian, crass, and who HATE her "mistress" Harrowwhark (Harrow) skilled young necromancer, younger than her, and that hate her back . Both gotta work together, despise their reciprocate hate. Will they end together in the end?.. possible, i saw thousands of fan art about it on the net, tough, let's be honest, peoples ship Guilliman and Yvraine because she said 'Hello" to him once and he waved back a "hi" so... you know...
anyway, kinda like the book so far, change a lot from the usual fantasy and or scifi. Will the book keep it fresh the whole, and the series be as good, that, i dunno, but so far so good!

one Gobi a month

It's a decision i took for me, i wanna do a personal drawing of Gobi there and there.
Mostly, i missed a lot drawing her, and, damn, kinda want to get back to draw goblins, before i start my comics.
So, i'll just try to swallow my usual fear of drawing things for me.
For the new here, i often pack a lot of due work, like reward and comms due. It keep me advancing on a steady pace to know i got works to do.
But one thing it does too is, that it make me.. kinda feel bad about drawing for me.
like 'OH! you're drawing your stuff, peoples wait their comms, they ll get angry"
and.. what don't help is that it actually happen, when i draw a thing that isn't a comm, happened many times that commissioner or HQ/elite ranks came asking "when you gonna work on mine then?"
So.. yeah. But, sorry for those who might think i target them, Fuck it, X)
I wanna draw for me time to time, so ll draw her at least once or twice a month, to keep me in the move, then i'll start the comics =D.. Damn, if you're here for more than 3 years how many times did you saw mewrite this and go back into depression not feeling worthy of drawing for myself once again? XD
Like, i had the idea at a time to propose sponsor ideas, like "i do that if enough peoples pay for it"
But i knew peoples wouldn't and i would end depressed, so i didn't even tried in the end.. well, i made an inquiry and went to peoples who voted "yes i would' and after a short math.. yeah wouldn't work.
bah, it's life. I just wanna try to draw things because i wanna, not because i should or starve, time to time X)
