What I'm Working On

One of the problems with making a game using RPGMaker is often times various changes make On Going Saves incompatible. This problem occured when working on a new UI layout for v.07 when I had to change several variables for the Journal and Story Options.

I didn't want to tell you folks that you'd have to restart (yet agian) so I've put in a system that will update Current Saves to use new systems as I include them.

So what else... Chapter 2 of course. I'm actually getting rather excited about Chapter 2, the story branches off in several spots, with upto 3 ways of getting through it, each way offering unique scenes. (Replayability!!!) These story branches connect at various points before branching off again. So there's roughly 12 ways to get through the Chapter so far. I say Roughly 12, because I'm in debate on adding a 4th story branch.

The rendering process was put on hold however for Chapter 2 when the water cooling system in my rendering rig decided to crap out on me. Completely my fault as I hadn't changed the coolant in over a year. I ordered a new one and expect it today or tomorrow.

But while the rendering of scenes is behind a few days, it did allow me to work more on the story and gameplay elements. I have some neat things planned now and in development, which I'll share more about after I get the next update out to you folks.
