Fortnightly Progress - 29th October

It's been a really, really good month. I mean full on best ever month so far which is absolutely amazing. For sure it was mostly due to some people taking advantage of the new deal where you get a month off if you decide to go yearly on here did play a part in that. However it happend though I'm super grateful, and I'm rather blown away.

• No Haven

Last hotfix for this update (barring new issues with this hotfix of course) should be out tomorrow or Saturday.

Ended up being quite content packed. Thanks to a patron requesting a new centaur start I've made centaur starts a proper thing outside of the one existing unique start and the promoted slaver options. So the Allmounter will be moved from the ogres he's been hanging out with and I've added two standard starts so there's some options. 

There's also going to be two new assignments using two of the outstanding commissions. 

• The No Haven Conversion

I managed to import everything though that version is sluggish to use to put it lightly in terms of navigating around in twine. So what I've been doing is using a stripped down version to work out the UI more. 

I had an issue where the portrait only worked if I included the image directly and not in the encoding I've used so I didn't have to redo all the art one by one which I did with WR. That I've now managed to solve and for those that have seen the old previews will notice the portrait is now in a new dedicated window. That meant I had some space which I realised I could include the bottom bar infor that previously I hadn't really considered. 

I've also managed to import all the variables to the stripped down version and identify all the errors those otherwise would have had.  

• Commissions

No art flood this time, not really surprising given how many turned up all at once, but still some nice stuff to talk about. 

July/August Commission Poll - Spa Drider: Seen some basic colours and she's looking rather elegant. 

July/August Commission Poll - Decadence Like No Other Tagg: It is indeed not happening with the first artist. Arranged it with someone else and should be starting in 2-3 weeks. 

Next Mavezar one - Mermaid: Done and generally the response has bene pretty great so that's nice.

Bonus Commission: Specifically a set of portraits with five varients. Saw them today, and they're off to really good start. 

For the September poll Deeper into the Infestation won and work started proper yesterday.

The September+October poll has now finished and to no one's surprise whose been looking at the polls even casually the insatiable fight, and the horny pair won easily. So will need to start working out who to tackle those.

• Discord Assignment the 3rd

This has kicked off again where via contributions and various polls the discord put together a pitch for me to turn into a full assignment. Before this led to Arisin and Little Demon, Big City. After the first week it's been determined that this is going to involve orcs but not them being the aggressors, and there's currently pitches being made to see what this will actually involve. There will also be a commission that the discord again will work out the details of and then vote on.
