The Discord Assignment part 5
Added 2018-09-17 18:10:18 +0000 UTCFor those that missed the introduction of just what is going on with these the first part is here and the second part is here.
Handing over to the patron behind all this once more;
First of all, thanks a lot to everyone who has participated so far! This whole process has turned out better than I thought it would, and it’s been a lot of fun. With that said, it’s time to move on to the final stage.
The winner of the last poll is the Vessel from the Storm assignment, so now all that’s left is to flesh it out and discuss the details, such as how a task like this would be approached in-game, trait requirements, some background information, rewards and other things like that. We’ll discuss these things on the Discord in the discord_assignment tab, but you can drop smaller suggestions in the comments down below, and we’ll talk about them in the channel.
Once more, please keep the scope of the assignment in mind, so don’t go too overboard with some of the ideas, because there is ultimately only so much that can be added. If you have any questions, you can reach us in the Discord!
Thank you all again, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
What I've suggested is that what gets suggested this week will be put together as a multiple choice vote for a final week. This will depend on how it turns out so maybe it's all hashed out on the discord and not needed or I'll break down the different suggestions like say different rewards and different requirements and put them all on to a big poll.
This would allow at least some input then for those for whatever reason who are on this tier and above, but aren't keen to mess around on the discord.
And as a reminder the details of the one that won;
Vessel from the Storm
A violent storm rages on the coast of the Dread Sea, and it's by no means a normal one. The air is filled with so much magic, your more gifted camp followers can't stop sneezing. Your sleep is disturbed by terrible dreams, but you can't remember what they were about: you just wake up horny, and more spooked than you'd like to admit.
As the sky eventually clears, your scouts go out exploring the coast, hoping to find some supplies lying around or grab some disoriented traveler who looks like they could be a nice addition to your ever-growing harem of slaves. But a surprise awaits them.
Just off the coast, close to the port town you usually go sell slaves at, sits an immense black vessel. It's bigger than anything you've ever seen floating on water, but a quick aerial survey shows that it's made of some kind of smooth stone, and appears to have been wrenched from the bottom of the sea, judging from the traces of underwater life still clinging to it.
The vessel seems completely empty, and who knows what kind of forgotten treasures lie inside it? It certainly appears to be the work of magic, and would make an easier target than the infamous Crossbones since there's no crew to be seen. A bad feeling nags at the back of your mind when you look at it, but you're sure it's nothing....time to take a closer look!
