This Patreon is shutting down...

What with one thing and another (various health issues, spending a year dealing with feral cats, Hurricane Beryl dropping a tree on my house, my convention-vendor business van getting totalled, and of course the regular running of that business and occasional household emergencies), I have written a grand total of 11,000 words in 2024. Only about 800 of them were on the Peter is the Wolf novel.

The simple fact is, I haven't had time or energy to concentrate on writing this year, except for a few brief intervals when I was able to get things squared away. And when those moments have come, they've frequently come at times and places when I couldn't work on PitW in particular.

So, over the past few weeks, I've been thinking.

The whole point of this Patreon account was to ensure that an artist could be paid for their work in making the comic, right? Well, that comic is now over. As I said before, the last $1500 or so I spent on testing artists resulted in one artist ghosting and another one turning out material too poor for me even to share. (And to be honest, the script was really lame, anyway.)

And without an artist, there's no reason for this particular Patreon to exist, not when I already have a monthly-support Patreon for my writing efforts.

Rather than charge by the update, this one charges once per month. It also covers my other writing (which has been mostly MLP fic related, because that's what gets attention) and my gaming YouTube videos (mostly sim racing, but I'll be shifting genres to get something easier to edit).

And it will have Peter is the Wolf chapters, beginning with the next bit, which is the first sex scene.

I'll also be re-posting the novel so far over there tonight, so you won't have to worry about losing access to what's been written so far.

Anyway, that's the news. No more pledges will be charged to this Patreon, and the page will be put on pause at the end of 2024. If you want updates on the project, check the link above.
