Besides "Bathory", there's another film - "The Countess" (IMO neither are stellar) and I suppose several others less known. Also once correction - her servants did receive a trial, but were tortured to confession and executed in a brutal way (along with a healer/"witch" that worked for her). At least according to what I've read :) .

2021-11-10 14:09:00 +0000 UTCThe comments with respect to Germany feels a little bit condescending to me (I am from Germany). The notion that we just turned off nuclear power with no idea on how to replace it is just wrong. This is an ongoing debate here since 1980. Nuclear power is dead in Germany for very good (but german specific) reasons in my view. I am happy to discuss this further in another forum as I do not want spam this comment section.
