Patreon recently alerted us to a problem some podcast feeds are having ingesting the feed. If that is the issue the best way get the feed working again is to unsubscribe/delete and the resubscribe with that url from the Audio RSS link box on the homepage patreon.com/skepticsguide - please use desktop to get the link.

I am on an iPhone, tried the above and had a few problems: an iPhone asks to "add a podcast by URL" and then when I look for the link I don't see that there is any "audio rss link" on this patreon page. I've tried adding by my link via my email and it doesn't work. I've been disconnected since January but still paying my monthly fee. Starting to get pretty annoyed. Anyone know a solution to this?

2019-05-08 20:21:46 +0000 UTCFor anyone still having a problem with the RSS feed I got Podcast Addict to work again: 1) unsubscribe 2) add a podcast, the circle with the + 3) rss 4) clear the url field remembered from last time 5) go to a browser on a pc to your patreon account sgu page overview tab 6) on the right, in the "audio rss link" box, click the "Copy" link 7) paste it unformatted into something you can access from your phone, I used a new Google doc 8) back on your phone which is still in the add podcast url dialog hit home to background Podcast Addict 9) open your Google doc and copy your url 10) switch back to Podcast Addict 11) paste into the url field and press "add" 12) open the SGU podcast 13) drag down to refresh 14) long press on episode 719 since that is when the problem started 15) "Mark older episodes as Played" 16) Download and enjoy episodes since 719 Bobs your uncle Your mileage may vary

2019-05-03 17:22:48 +0000 UTCFYI, had this issue and went to look for the link mentioned but it doesn't show up in the overview section on the iOS Patreon app or web page. I had to look for it on a desktop browser and send it to myself to be able to update my phone's podcast app.

I had never read or heard the word chlorite before and so my brain just converted the t to d. Even though I did rewind before the original post to make sure I had not misheard.
