Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest Entry
Added 2022-04-11 21:16:34 +0000 UTCMy Entry for the Pokemon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2022! The theme was showing the chosen Pokemon 'going about its day either while adventuring or while enjoying its daily life', which uh, kinda means 'draw whatever', but I wanted to show a fun way an Arcanine could use it's abilities!
This was my first pass at the composition and palette - looking back, I might prefer it a tad over the final, but when I cropped the image the bushes in the foreground didn't read well, so I dropped them entirely.
Unfortunately I didn't make the top 300 - I like to think I was a solid 400. Would have looked nice, though!
